I offer supervision to professionals and organisations working under complex and demanding conditions - for example within schools, social services, NGO's, and other settings where work involves close contact with people in difficult life situations. Supervision is offered to both teams and individuals who seek professional clarity and a clearer sense of responsibility, boundaries, and working conditions, so their work can be carried out in a way that feels more humane and professionally sustainable.
Supervision is about finding grounding and perspective in work situations where it becomes difficult to know what the right course of action is, and stay present and intact within it. In the sessions we work to clarify roles and responsibilities and to understand strain as something that often arises in the field between people, tasks, and the conditions under which the work is carried out. A central focus in maintaining ethics, integrity, and vitality in working with other people.
Many people come to supervision with experiences of ongoing pressure or organisational change, feelings of powerlessness, ethical dilemmas, or a sense of carrying responsibility that feels heavy or unclear. This may show up as exhaustion, emotional depletion, or as irritation, withdrawal, or a loss of meaning and direction in the work.
These reactions are ofte natural responses to working conditions - not signs of personal inadequacy. In supervision, we work to create clarity and overview - individually or in groups - so difficult emotions can ease and new possibilities for action become visible. Overall, supervision aims to prevent burnout and compassion fatigue and to support balance, joy, and professional development. Supervision does not always provide ready-made answers, but it supports taking the next step with greater calm and renewed trust in oneself.
The supervision sessions are grounded in what is alive and relevant for the individual, the group, and the context in which the work takes place. The pace is intentionally slower than in everyday working life, allowing space to see, sense, and understand before acting.
Supervision often draws on specific situations and cases from professional life. These cases are not viewed as isolated problems, but as entry points for exploring responsibility, boundaries, and working conditions within the wider field they are part of. I help make what is unclear more distinct, separate personal from structural factors, create perspective where work feels stuck, and support standing in one's role in a way that is more sustainable over time.
Supervision is typically offered as time-limited processes (e.g. 3-6 sessions), either individually or in smaller groups or teams. Structure, focus, and expectations are clarified in advance, ensuring that the supervision is aligned with your specific situation and needs.

You are welcome to reach out for a non-binding conversation about your situation and whether supervision might be supportive.
